Psychologists have found that’s the length of time to change any habit. Make sure you have at least two dozen copies of the affirmation and only focus on one affirmation at a time.

Place a copy EVERYWHERE you will see it often during the day. Prop or scotch-tape one up next to your bed, where you will see it just before going to sleep and the first thing on awakening (try the lampshade).

Tape one to your bathroom mirror, one above your toilet paper holder. Think of everywhere you spend any part of your day and put one there.

Surely you can think of a dozen others. Don’t forget your car. Tape one to the dashboard and one to the steering wheel. If you use a corkboard message center, put one there. Remember the laundry room, the vacuum, favorite photo, your favorite CD’s, put one under your pillow. And this one is VITAL: tape one over your heart, writing towards your skin. Use easy to remove the surgical tape. You’ll have to change this one after every shower, so be sure you have a large stack handy.

EVERY TIME your eye falls on one of the pieces of paper, stop for a second and say the affirmation out loud, with deep conviction, and give thank you already have it. This takes maybe five seconds, if you have it posted 20 places, and see each one 10 times a day, that’s 16 minutes out of your day!!!

If you also do daily meditations, which is most helpful, focus on this affirmation for 5 minutes.

The last thing at night and first thing in the morning ones, and the meditation ones are most essential. The message is put into your mind while your brain is in alpha. This is direct contact with your higher consciousness. The other ones help change your belief system.

It is also helpful if you want to boost the power and get your heart’s desire quicker, to spend as much time as possible daydreaming about it; what you would do “if” you already had it?

For example: If your affirmation has to do with a vacation to Egypt, every spare minute you think about the trip. Where would you go, what would you see, what clothes would you pack for the trip, see yourself ordering the tickets, feel yourself in a plane, see the ocean below you and the puffy clouds above you, see yourself in front of the pyramid, feel the hot desert air on your skin , smell the sand dunes, hear the noise of the bazaar, feel the thrill of being where you have dreamed of being.

Spare minutes are easy to find. Sitting at a red light? Don’t fuss about the stupidity of other drivers, think of your trip. Waiting on hold on the phone? Don’t fume about stupid companies, think about your trip. Doing your exercises? Don’t think about the pain, think about your trip. Watching TV and a commercial cuts in? Don’t be irritated about it, think about your trip.

It is also very helpful that as you drift off to sleep at night. You are thinking about your trip, this sends it deep into your subconscious.

So, there you have the Paper Cure. It is no deep mysterious mystical esoteric thing, but simple common sense based on universal truth, “Where you put your energy is what you bring forth into creation.” This works in every area of your life: health, happiness, finances, jobs, new cars, new houses, relationships, love affairs, marriages. Whatever your heart desires, NAME IT AND CLAIM IT.
